Part of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, this latest volume represents the loving work of Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, Candice C. Carter, Susanna Palomares, Bradley L. Winch and our own Brethren member Linda K. Williams. Linda conceived of this particular "Chicken Soup" project after the Columbine School shooting of 1999. Her desire to create peace has provided much of the energy behind this marvelous compilation of stories. Who are the story tellers? Over a hundred stories are included in the book. Here are just some of the story contributors: President Jimmy Carter, Thich Nhat Hanh, Howard Zinn, and many friends of the Church of the Brethren, including Sylvia Boaz Leighton and musician Michael Stern. What are people saying about Chicken Soup for the Soul...Stories for a Better World? Archbishop Desmond M. Tutu: "What a splendid anthology of stories that tell so eloquently how each of us can make a difference, sometimes spectacularly on the international level, but more often no less spectacularly, on an intimate personal level." Mohammad Ali: "Every story in 'Chicken Soup for a Better World' is a vision of peace for our future. Here is my challenge to you as you read this book: open your mind, listen with your heart. You can make a difference!" FOR MORE ENDORSEMENTS CLICK HERE Where to buy the book: Copies are available wherever books are sold.
